English Translation
Allah – there is no God except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustained of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
Benefit of Ayatul Kursi
Ayatul Kursi is the most prominent verse of the heavenly book, Holy Qur’an. This Aya is a part of Surah Baqara. Which has the distinction of being the largest surah in the Holy Book. The verse Al-Kursi is the 255th verse of Surah Baqarah. The reason for giving it a high position in the category of verses is that Allah has clearly explained His greatness, power and dignity in this verse. What else have makes this verse important?
