Now you will see all kinds of files. Find the one called ‘Originals’ and click on it. Now you will see a new folder with a lot of years. Click on a year, then a month, and you will see all the pictures from your iPhoto library from that month. You can then open the photos one by one, copy them, or do what you like with each. A screen saver is an image or series of images that appear onscreen when your computer is idle for a predetermined amount of time. Screen savers were originally created to prevent monitor burn-in that occurred when the same image appeared in the same place on screen for long periods of time. (I still have an old Mac SE/30 with an image of the menu bar burned into its 9-inch monitor. Hmmm..I think I just revealed how old I am.) Minitab.
Nowadays, monitor burn-in isn't an issue. But screen savers are still widely used to display interesting images—images like the photos in your iPhoto Photo Library.
