Adobe Cs 5.5 Yosemite Compatibility

As you can see have the creative suite and have a lot of files that were created in these. I want to upgrade to Sierra, I didn't bother to go to Yosemite, or El Capitan. I also have a partition drive for bootcamp. When prompted to enter a serial number, enter your Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5.5 serial number and complete the installation. If you are installing CS 5.5 Subscription Edition software, you will need to be connected to the Internet. The installer will prompt you if it detects that you are offline.
I found some other instructions, I forget now but they might have been for older versions of CS and they stated a 768MB 8800GTX would work. I tried it with my 8800GTX but it didn't work, the sniffer gave a message stating something about not being chosen because the card is only CUDA 1.0 capable and it requires 1.3.
If your Mac running OS X Yosemite needs Java for application compatibility, online banking, or any of the myriad of other reasons, you can manually install one of two versions of Java that are compatible with OS X 10.10, either the latest version of JRE 8, or an older version from Apple which remains compatible with the newest version of OS X.

Now is a good time to install updates for Creative Cloud (2017, 2015, 2014, and 2013 releases), CS6, CS5.5, and CS5 versions of the Adobe video applications, since several significant updates have been released.

The best way to check for updates is by opening the Creative Cloud desktop application or by choosing Help > Updates within any Adobe application.

IMPORTANT: Before installing a new version, please read this page about the default behavior of the updater, which is to remove all previous versions of the application, and this page about why you might not want to do that.

We have also been working with providers of plug-ins, codecs, and hardware devices to assist them in updating their software to fix some errors and crashes. Please take this opportunity to download and install updated codecs, plug-ins, and drivers from these providers, as relevant to your work.

Updates are cumulative. If you install an update, you get all of the fixes and features in previous updates for the same version of the application.
